Organization Development Special Interest Group - ROI, Evaluation, and Measurement

We'll explore the differences and similarities in how OD practitioners and clients measure success; which measures are used; and the ROI trap -- how we got into it and how we can get out of it.

The OD SIG’s mission is to expand the professional capabilities and growth of internal and external OD consultants who work in public and private organizations.  The OD SIG provides a supportive environment for potential, new, and experienced consultants to learn about OD, as well as, discuss and receive feedback on the current challenges they face.  Essentially, the OD SIG is a “community of practice.”

The OD SIG meets on the first Thursday of the month from September to June.  The meetings are from 12 noon to 2 p.m. The locations may vary based on available spaces and member needs.

The OD SIG is an open group for GV ASTD members and anyone interested in OD can join (no background is necessary). Karen Barrow leads the OD SIG, and can be reached at 585-218-4024 or

People who are interested in the OD SIG, but not currently GV ASTD members can attend two meetings free of charge. After two meetings, interested parties must join GV ASTD to attend additional meetings.
