The Value of Personal Stories in the Workplace

Personal stories matter--whether you are a janitor or a leader. Mary Harris will lead a discussion about the importance of personal stories in the workplace, not only as a way to facilitate learning but also as a way to build an inclusive culture of employees connecting with each other.  We'll discuss how learning professionals can make the most of these stories in our work.

Location:
Cater Trax - Located in Village Gate. Although the street address is Goodman St., turn down Anderson Avenue and go down to the SECOND entrance to Village Gate, near the intersection of Anderson and Merriman St. Look for the parking lot entrance by Sedgewick. The building to enter is called The Lofts (big grey words on top of the building). Call 704-1770 if you need directions.

Date: Friday, December 5, 2014

Time:

7:30 - 8:00: Meet, greet and gather questions for discussion.

8:00-9:00 Program
