As learning professionals, what can we do to drive adoption and engagement? The more learners are engaged, the greater the retention of knowledge and the stronger the application on the job, which in turn demonstrates the value of the learning event.

Think about how you are engaged in the world on a daily basis. What "games" are you engaged in? Punch cards at the local coffee shop, Shopper's Club card, frequent flier miles.... Come and bring your observances about how we're engaged in activities each day and we'll discuss how these might apply to driving engagement for learning and development.

The Corporate Learning & Development Council vision is: To sustain a high-level network for training and development professionals who are responsible for developing and implementing strategic training initiatives within their organizations in the local business community at which they are employed.

The eLearning SIG meets a number of times throughout the year. It is open to all GV ASTD members. Non-members are welcome to attend up to two meetings as a guest in order to decide whether to become a GV ASTD member.
