How To Do Deep Work In A Distracted World

Do you find yourself mired in the daily grind and shallow work of meetings, replying to email and ‘to do’ lists, rather than the deep work you desire to be doing in your personal or professional life? Deep work is defined by author Cal Newport as activities performed in a state of distraction-free concentration that push your cognitive capabilities to their limit. 

We’ll discuss the tips and strategies Cal Newport writes about in his book, Deep Work: Rules for Focused Success in a Distracted World. You’ll be sure to walk away with valuable ideas to apply to your own life. 

Event begins at 7:30 am for meet, greet and gather questions for discussion.  Program runs from 8:00 am to 9:00am

Park in lot across the street in Goodwill Store parking lot. Entrance to building is under a large concrete/glass canopy. Conference room on first floor, immediately on the left when you enter the building.

This is a Community of Practice (CoP) meeting. CoP meetings are free to members, and the first 2 CoP meetings are free to non-members.
