Universal Design in Learning: Inclusive Instructional Design for Neurodivergent Learners
July 20th 12-1 p.m.
Via Zoom
Centers of Disease Control and Prevention estimates that 20% of the world’s population has some form of neurodiversity, such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) or dyslexia. However, most corporate training teams aren’t prepared to reach these learners. In this session, we’ll identify barriers that stand between learners and their educational goals, and how to remove them to reach learners of all cognitive abilities.
Join Jennifer Rowlands (she/her), an Instructional Designer III at Excellus BlueCross BlueShield, as she guides the conversation around how learning and development professionals can encorporate creative strategies to open the door to inclusivity in our learning projects.
