Everyday Creativity with Creativity Expert Anthony Billoni

Is your view of creativity something that only artists have? Or something to be trotted out only when you need some really big and audacious ideas?

What if creativity was the everyday energy that gave you an extra push to stick with a troublesome task or to meet your next sales goal or to keep your team engaged just long enough to not only finish a project, but to breakthrough into a new level of success?

Those that believe the former never really get the full benefit of what business leaders in today’s market call creativity.  If you believe the latter then you may already be using tools and techniques attributed to creativity – or you may be open to using them on a regular basis and reaping the benefits.

This fast-paced interactive session will introduce an everyday approach to creativity – one that you can take back to work and start using at your desk or in your current project with your workgroup.  If you are an architect you stay in practice by drawing a lot and looking at other structures.  If you are in sales you are always sharpening your pitch technique.  Whatever the “content” of your job, if you are a top-level achiever, when you are not doing you are practicing.  Applying your imagination is your path to becoming more deliberately creative. Our process will increase flow, reduce friction and lead you to breakthrough output.  The more often you use your imagination the more flexible and creative you will be dealing with too many choices, opposing points of view, dead ends and of course: NOT ENOUGH OF (INSERT ANSWER HERE).

Creativity Expert Anthony Billoni leads a fast-paced interactive workshop that will help you come away with a fresh look at creativity and how to use it each day.

    Meet Your Facilitator:

Anthony Billoni leads organizations and executives, at any stage of growth, to Get Better Faster. He is a certified expert level coach through Accelerating Coaching Excellence, a faculty member of the Creative Problem Solving Institute and holds a Master’s Degree in Creativity and Change Leadership from Buffalo State College. With more than 30 years of experience, in deliberate creativity, Anthony is certified as an expert level facilitator guiding organizations in solving challenges while raising team's level of imagination for greater innovative  outcomes.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion CoP Inclusion Lab!

When: Thursday, August 25, 2022, 7:30 AM*, EST
    Where: Zoom

    *7:30-8:00 a.m.: Networking Opportunity

    8:00-9:00 a.m.: CoP

Inclusion Lab Series: Equity Focus in Policy Revision and Development

An equity focus in policy recognizes the need to eliminate disparities in workplace experiences from traditionally underserved, marginalized, and underrepresented populations in the workplace. The short-term goal of this DEI Learning Lab series is to provide the foundational understanding and hands-on experience for accessing policies through an equity and inclusion lens. The long-term goal is a practitioner-created equity assessment tool.

An equity lens is a process for analyzing or diagnosing the impact of the design and implementation of policies on traditionally under-served and marginalized individuals and groups, and to identify and potentially eliminate barriers. A protocol for policy review provides a structure for institutionalizing the consideration of equity in the process of making, implementing, and assessing policy.

This lab will provide the opportunity to Practice Assessing several policy’s purposes, equity, and inclusiveness:

    • What does the policy aim to do? Does the policy indicate who is to benefit? Who is left out?

    • Uncover policy assumptions: What are the taken-for-granted assumptions made about employees and institutions within the policy?

    • In what ways might the taken-for-granted assumptions impact equity?

    • How do we make equity intentional rather than accidental?

    • Invite reflection on the ways that institutional policies can advance equity.
